The petrol station is the first project we designed as an official office. It is located on the road Gjakove Prishtine, village Meqë. The building was and still remains to be in a deserted location therefore the design concept of the structure was to pop up and be visible in the plain landscape while still complementing nature. The hotel adjacent to the petrol station was added two years later, also designed by our office. The hotel was designed as an extension of the petrol station therefore when observed from sides, they give the impression of a single building.

The petrol station was structurally challenging considering the lack of engineering technology of an after war country. Due to its characteristic structure, this project was often subject to analytical studies at the civil engineering department, University of Prishtina.
